Hey there, I’m August!
Born in September, named August—because why make things simple? I’m a bridal hair & makeup artist with 10 years of experience making people feel like their most beautiful, confident selves. A year ago, I took the leap to run my own business, and it has been the BEST decision ever. There’s nothing like the magic of getting a bride ready for her big day—it’s seriously my happy place!
I graduated from Utah Valley University with degrees in Communications and Social Sciences, which pretty much means I love people and their stories. But my heart has always been in beauty. Now, I get to do what I love every day, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
When I’m not brushing, sculpting, perfecting, or highlighting, you can find me spending time with my favorite people—my husband, Kale, and our sweet daughter, Lucy Kate. Oh, and let’s not forget Aspen, my long-haired Blue Russian cat who thinks she runs the place (and honestly, she kinda does).
